Centre Court, Birmingham – Car park barriers, access control (including DDA compliance) and CCTV

Centre Court is a multi-occupancy office block with meeting room facilities. Parking issues at the front and rear of the site necessitated the installation of two separate barriers with intercoms cabled back to reception. This worked alongside a CCTV system installed previously by ourselves.

We also installed an access control system for both barriers which linked to the same system being installed on the front and rear doors of the building. This was an intelligent networked system to allow you to control times and zones of access. eg. providing vehicle access to only one car park or preventing building access after certain times. This has been so successful that it has been expanded to other doors within the building and this has allowed an audit trail of building usage.
