Maintenance Contract Options

What you need to know

There is a legal requirement to undertake regular maintenance of gates and barriers. As a gate safe registered installer, we undertake maintenance visits every 6 months (as per recommendations from both HSE and Gatesafe.org). 

Service Summary

A typical service will include the following for your gates/barriers:

• Visual Inspection of the device
• Check mechanical operation
• Check all safety devices (including beams, safety edges, induction loops etc)
• Lubrication
• Check mechanical release/override
• Check operation of associated hardware (intercoms, keypads, readers etc)
• Document and certify

One off service fees

One off service cost for a car park  barrier £150 plus Vat (Per Barrier)

One off service cost for an automated gate £200 plus Vat (Per Gate)

Maintenance service fees

For Gates, maintenance contracts start from £325 plus vat (Includes 2 services per year)

For Barriers, maintenance contracts start from £225 plus vat (Includes 2 services per year)
